LexProxy text message alerts
LexProxy is a private network of verified Georgia attorneys who cover each other's court appearances. Members can choose to get text messages from LexProxy at (678) 578-8479. Texts are optional and off unless a member turns them on.
Who gets texts and how they opt in
Only LexProxy members who check the box below (in Settings, on the profile step of sign-up, or on their invitation form when they join) and enter a U.S. mobile number. The box is never checked for them. We don't text anyone who hasn't opted in, and we don't buy or import phone numbers for texting. We keep a record of each opt-in: the number, the date and time, and the exact wording shown.

After the member saves, the page confirms texts are on, and LexProxy sends one confirmation text before any other message:

What we send
- Job alerts: a new posting that matches the courts and work the member chose. Example: "LexProxy: New coverage job in Cobb County Magistrate Court on Oct 21 at 9:00 AM, fee $150. View and bid: lexproxy.com/marketplace. Reply STOP to cancel."
- Hearing reminders: before a hearing the member is covering or posted. Example: "LexProxy: Reminder, you are covering a hearing on Oct 21 at 9:00 AM in Fulton County State Court. Details: lexproxy.com/dashboard. Reply STOP to cancel."
- Appearance updates: for example, when the member is selected for a job or a report is in. Example: "LexProxy: You were selected to cover the Oct 21 hearing. Confirm you have no conflicts within 24 hours: lexproxy.com/dashboard. Reply STOP to cancel."
Texts never include client names, case numbers or confidential case details. We don't send marketing texts.
Frequency and cost
Message frequency varies with the member's activity and preferences. Message and data rates may apply.
Stopping texts and getting help
- Reply STOP to any LexProxy text to stop all texts. We'll confirm once and send nothing more until you opt in again or reply START.
- Or uncheck the box under Settings › Text messages.
- Reply HELP for help, or email support@lexproxy.com.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy
We do not sell, rent or share mobile numbers or text message opt-in consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Numbers are shared only with Twilio, which delivers our texts. See section 8 of our Privacy Policy and section 17 of our Terms of Service.
